The European Regulation on Construction Products (EU) No 305/2011 (CPR) entered into force on July 1, 2013. For construction products covered by a harmonised European standard, the application of the CE marking is mandatory.

The cement must comply with the harmonised standard EN 197-1: 2011. In order to be able to affix the CE marking to his product, the manufacturer, such as Cemminerals, is required to draw up a declaration of performance. In this declaration, the application possibilities and the corresponding performance of the construction product, in this case cement, are determined.
